By downloading, installing, or using the Murmur software ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.
CRITICAL NOTICE: Murmur is a transcription and text-entry accessibility tool powered by artificial intelligence. It is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, or a substitute for independent clinical judgment. The physician or licensed medical professional utilizing the Software is solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of all transcribed text before finalizing clinical documentation in an EHR or any other medical record system.
Murmur grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on your personal MacOS or Windows machines. "Lifetime License" denotes a perpetual license for the major version purchased (e.g., v2.x) and includes all functional updates within that major version cycle.
Murmur is designed as a "local-first" tool. Audio recording, speech-to-text processing, and Smart Template generation occur entirely on-device. Murmur does not transmit your microphone audio, system audio, or resulting text to external cloud servers, nor do we collect or monetize your clinical transcripts.
The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. Murmur AI expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular clinical or administrative purpose.
